Having been in the turnaround world for nearly 25 years, I have amassed incredible and important relationships, which I continue to build on. My background is diverse, having started my career as a Senior Trial Attorney with the Office of the United States Trustee and now serving as an executive with a major claims administration company. I am based Chicago, IL where we are the only claims administration company that has a major mid west presence. Corporate headquarters are in New York.

In addition, I continue to expand upon my many years of experience as a mediator, well versed in the mediation of a wide rage of complex business issues. My origninal training dates back to 1997 when I participated in the Center for Dispute Resolution’s Mediation Training Program. My most recent training took place in 2011 as a participant in the St. John’s School of Law – American Bankruptcy Institute’s (ABI) inaugural Mediation Training Program. I am now a faculty member of that program serving as a mediatior-coach for the intesive training class. Further, I am one of the founding members of the re-constituted ABI’s Bankruptcy Mediation Committee and was recently appointed to chair the American Bar Association Business Section’s Alternate Dispute Resolution sub-committee.

An expert in many areas involving business, restructuring and economic issues, I write and lecture often and have strong media relationships who frequently call upon me for comment on important issues for both print and broadcast.

I have been an associate editor for the ABI Journal for several years, working with authors who tackle an array of topics that touch on all aspects of the restructuring world.

Specialties: Claims Administration and Noticing in complex Chapter 11 cases. Mediator (on the panels of SDNY,EDNY, DE) and appointed generally in complex business disputes.
