Sam Kashy is Managing Director, Central & East Region at Armanino LLP. Prior to Armanino, Sam was a key leader in both business and product development for a data and analytics company opening new geographic markets (Canada) and sectors (Banking) to the firm.  Clients included GE Capital, Huntington Bank, and De Lage Landen and Sam led the launch of the company’s top innovations.   Sam started his career as a CPA and consultant with Arthur Andersen & Co in their Boston office.  After 2 years counting beans, he and a few others started an operational consulting practice within Arthur Andersen selling and servicing process optimization services.

Sam completed undergraduate work at Michigan State University and obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree. He later completed an MBA at Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business with concentrations in Marketing and Entrepreneurship.  Upon graduation, Sam joined Anheuser-Busch in the corporate planning group.  Sam rotated to International Mergers and Acquisitions and focused on developing markets and Europe.  Sam moved into sales as Director of Business Development at CompuCom leading relationships including Pharmacia, Monsanto, US Bank, and Smurfit-Stone.  His skills span business strategy, M&A, marketing strategy and sales management. With Sam’s guidance, Tandem grew 27% in 2011 with 200% growth in net new business.
