Mr. Schmidt has worked for 33 years at The Packaging House, Inc. in Chicago, Illinois. Since joining his family’s business in June 1980, he has worked in many different areas from Customer Service and Sales to Accounting and Corporate Management. For the last 17 years, he has served as President and CEO of the Company. The Packaging House, Inc. designs and sells Packaging and Point of Purchase Displays for Consumer Product companies. He works with his brother (COO).
Mr. Schmidt earned a Masters in Business Administration degree from Loyola University of Chicago in 1989. He earned a B.S. of Marketing degree from Arizona State University in 1980.
Mr. Schmidt served as President of Green Acres Country Club in Northbrook, IL from 2005-2007, He was President of Am Yisrael Congregation in Northfield, IL from 2002-2004. He served as President of the Mayer Kaplan JCC in Skokie, IL from 1995-1997.
Mr. Schmidt is married and has two children. He lives in Wilmette,IL. His hobbies are: Golf, tennis, sailing, fishing, and boys high school varsity basketball officiating.
