Mr. Hanraty manages the Philadelphia office, where he brings 20 years of investment banking and private equity experience to his clients. During his investment banking career, Mr. Hanraty has led transactions across a variety of industries including building products, business services, consumer products, industrial, and transportation and logistics.
Prior to joining Harris Williams & Co., Mr. Hanraty managed a fund for an economic development organization; and was a Senior Investment Professional at a middle market private equity firm. Mr. Hanraty was also a founder of a commercial mortgage securitization firm, and he has actively served the Philadelphia and Mid-Atlantic business communities through various speaking and leadership positions. Mr. Hanraty has served on the national board for the Association for Corporate Growth, and as the co-chair for the initial two years of the Association for Corporate Growth M&A East Conference, an M&A and growth conference that is co-hosted by Wharton Private Equity Network and The Deal.
Mr. Hanraty earned a B.A. from Yale University. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife and two children.
