Ms. McGuire has been PHR certified (Professional In Human Resources) since 2006, and an active member of PIHRA for many years.
In her role at hr-haven, Ms. McGuire helps clients achieve great HR programs seamlessly as if they had their own in-house HR Department. Melissa and her team workon retainer as an outsourced virtual HR Department, providing small businesses with the hr-haven, inc. StartUp Toolkit™, providing bundled hours, or on a project basis for interim guidance or management support to Toolkit Alumni. Born and raised a Californian, (the most complex state to practice Human Resources), Melissa recently decided to enjoy the Midwest way of life in the Kansas City area and is loving every aspect of it. She has been married for 17 years and has two beautiful teenagers.
