Matt has represented entrepreneurs, financial institutions, real estate developers, and other companies and individuals on an array of corporate, finance, real estate and general business matters. Matt is a native Tucsonan and utilizes his ties to the community to connect clients with people and resources that will achieve their goals. Matt operates with a strong understanding of the needs of his clients and uses his first-hand experience to offer practical advice to companies and individuals on many aspects of their business. Matt has successfully managed high capacity projects including corporate formation and fundraising for start-ups, advising existing companies on strategies for growth and expansion, and developing and implementing wind-down and exit plans for mature businesses.
Prior to establishing Thrasher Law Offices PLLC, Matt served as General Counsel to a financial services company he helped form and start. Matt has also served as Associate General Counsel to a large private financial institution, and worked in private practice at the law firms of Farhang & Medcoff, PLLC and Snell & Wilmer LLP in Tucson, and Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell, LLP in Houston, Texas. Matt attended law school at Vanderbilt University, and received a Bachelor of Arts from Occidental College. He is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and the State Bar of Texas.
