Marco A. Gonzalez, Jr. is a seasoned legal professional with significant experience in complex civil litigation, labor and employment, compliance counselling, internal investigations, and white-collar defense. He counsels and defends clients in governmental enforcement matters from the Export Administration Regulations to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, ITAR, and trade sanctions enforced by the US Office of Foreign Assets Control. Mr. Gonzalez has developed considerable experience in leveraging his language, military, and technical background in representing his clients and minimizing their risk. Mr. Gonzalez’s work has also extended to representing clients abroad from the Caribbean, Latin America, and Europe. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Mr. Gonzalez has counselled clients on the CARES Act, CDC Guidelines for Business, the Paycheck Protection Programs, and on FDA compliance with the mitigation of the shortages of Personal Protection Equipment (PPEs) and Filtering Facial Respirators (FFRs). Mr. Gonzalez also acts as Outside General Counsel to a number of entities.
Having served in the U.S. Marine Corps and as an Aircraft Structural Specialist on the F-117A Stealth Fighter Project for Lockheed-Martin, Mr. Gonzalez brings a unique skill-set to the practice of law. Mr. Gonzalez is a past President and General Counsel of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey, a graduate of the Minority Corporate Counsel Association’s Academy for Leadership and Inclusion Training, and serves as the Outside General Counsel of the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey.
