Larry Rivkin is a founding partner of Rivkin & Rivkin. He received his undergraduate degree (B.A. with Distinction, Phi Beta Kappa, 1989) from Stanford University and his law degree (J.D., 1994) from the University of Chicago Law School, where he was the Lord Bissell Public Service Merit Scholar. He also attained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 1999.
Larry has taught estate planning as an adjunct professor of the College of Financial Planning and is a member of the Trust & Estates Section of the Illinois Bar Association and the Professional Advisory Committee to the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago’s Legacy and Endowments Committee. He is active with the Y-Adventure Guides program, coaches youth recreational sports, and serves as Vice-President of the Lincolnshire-Prairie View District 103 Board of Education and on the Board of Directors of the Camp Nebagamon Scholarship Fund.
Larry and Michele have three children, Megan, Joey, and Brady, and live in Lincolnshire, Illinois.
