Mr. Werkheiser regularly represents distressed companies, fiduciaries, lenders, committees, trade creditors, and acquirers in financial restructurings, bankruptcy proceedings, loan workouts, commercial disputes, cross-border cases, and related litigation. He has worked with clients from such diverse industries as steel, oil &gas, real estate, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, fast-casual dining, professional sports, telecommunications, aerospace, retail, cannabis/CBE, mining, financial services, entertainment, and e-commerce. Mr. Werkheiser has appeared as a Ranked Bankruptcy/Restructuring Practitioner in the Chambers USA Guide every year since 2013, and has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America, Who’s Who Legal, and IFLR1000. Mr. Werkheiser is admitted to the Delaware, New York and District of Columbia Bars, the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He received his B.S. from Pennsylvania State University and his J.D. magna cum laude from the Delaware Law School of Widener University. Before entering private practice, Mr. Werkheiser clerked for Hon. Jane R. Roth of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
