About Brad Pickard

Brad Pickard joined Republic Partners in 2014 after a 25-year career in private equity and investment banking. Brad began his career with Salomon Brothers (now Citigroup) in investment banking. Brad joined Wasserstein Perella (now Commerzbank) in 1993. As a partner at Wasserstein Perella, Brad served as a mergers & acquisitions banker to both public and private businesses in the distribution, industrial, metal and consumer sectors. He developed the skills and knowledge to advise public board of directors and an appreciation for issues facing directors of public companies. In 2003, Brad joined Houlihan Lokey Howard and Zukin as a partner to help lead the Private Equity Group and Generalist Mergers & Acquisitions Group. As a mergers and acquisitions banker, roughly half of Brad’s engagements were advising on divestitures, while the other half were advising on acquisitions. In 2009, Brad was one of the founders of Access Value Investors, a value and operationally focused private equity firm. While at Access Value Investors, Brad led investments in the distribution, industrial, metal and consumer spaces. Brad has served on the board of directors of First Mercury (insurance, public) and Papyrus/Schurman Retail Group (retail, private). He graduated with a BA from the University of Michigan, a MBA from the University of Chicago and has received his CPIM.
