Discovery

  • September 22, 2026

Discovery is the pretrial process through which each side gathers facts, documents, testimony, and other information that may help establish what happened and what can be proved in the case. It can include written questions, document production, requests for admission, depositions, expert discovery, and other procedures allowed by the governing rules. Discovery helps the parties understand the factual record and decide what issues truly remain in dispute.
