This webinar addresses the decision-making process that precedes the initiation of any receivership, covers the pros and cons of receivership as compared to other commonly available options, and walks through the court filings necessary to initiate a state court commercial receivership (including complaints, motions, notices, bonding requirements, receiver oaths, receiver qualifications, funding, and critical first steps a receiver should take when appointed by a court). It also addresses common mistakes that are made at the initiation stage.

About the NEEC-TBA

The National Educational Event Calendar for Trusted Business Advisors (“NEEC-TBA”) is a cooperative effort of its members. Other not-for-profit associations whose members include accountants, attorneys, business brokers, financial advisors, financial planners, investment bankers, and other trusted advisors to businesses and business owners are welcome to submit their events to the NEEC-TBA by clicking the “submit an event” button. The vision of the NEEC-TBA is to provide a single location on the internet so that: (a) professional associations with overlapping membership and event attendees may use it to help them plan and promote their events; and (b) members of these organizations and other potential event attendees can go to a single calendar to review many options at once.
