He is a University of California Law San Francisco trained Mediator, available to assist parties in resolving complex disputes. Seth also provides fiduciary services including Independent Director, Receiver, Trustee, Post Confirmation Administrator and Assignee (ABC).
Seth’s highly effective complex problem-solving experience enables him to efficiently initiate, lead and execute solutions on behalf of debtors, creditors, investors, lenders and boards. He serves as Chief Restructuring Officer or Responsible Party for debtors (or their creditors) and leads engagements as Financial Advisor for Unsecured Creditors Committees, secured creditors and trustees. His real estate expertise spans development, construction, brokerage, financing, asset management, workouts and distressed assets.
He specializes in large and complex Ponzi scheme, financial fraud and tax-related chapter 11 cases requiring forensic investigations and valuations that have won Restructuring of the Year awards such as Easterday Ranches ($250m) and iCap Enterprises ($260m) as well as DC Solar ($2bn), Refreshing USA ($250m), and Synapse Financial Technologies (alleged $90m).
Seth is a director of the Bay Area Bankruptcy Forum and member of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI), National Association of Federal Receivers, Financial Lawyers Conference, Turnaround Management Association (TMA), Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors (AIRA), California Receivers Forum; the San Francisco Bar Association and International Cannabis Bar Association.

Prior to GlassRatner, Seth was the CEO and co-founder of an emerging and frontier markets cross-border focused restructuring advisor and registered investment manager. His investment management experience includes organizing and managing real estate and emerging markets investment strategies include private (hedge) funds, private equity and a 40 Act India mutual fund.
