About John J. O’Malley

John J. O’Malley is a shareholder at Volpe Koenig and chairs its Trademark/Copyright Practice Group. He focuses his practice on advising clients on strategies for building brands and developing and protecting U.S. and international trademark portfolios. He also counsels clients on a wide range of IP matters, including IP litigation, privacy and data security, IP due diligence for banks, investment companies, venture capital and private equity investors, negotiating intellectual property agreements, and counseling start-up and emerging companies in cost-effective strategies to protect key IP assets.
O’Malley received his BA in political science, cum laude, from The George Washington University, and his JD from Villanova Law.
