About Colleen Mitchell

Colleen Mitchell is a senior licensing project manager at Vicente LLP. As part of the Merit Licensing Department, she is responsible for managing and drafting competitive licensing applications for all types of cannabis businesses. She has helped clients successfully obtain cannabis licenses in Alabama, Colorado, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, Texas, and more. She also assists clients with ongoing regulatory compliance and helps them navigate state licensing requirements as they grow their businesses. From MSOs to family-owned businesses, Colleen provides tailored guidance to help cannabis businesses achieve their goals while maintaining compliance with state and local regulatory requirements.

In addition to cannabis licensing, Colleen also manages state and local natural medicine license applications for psilocybin cultivators, manufacturers, and healing centers in Colorado.

Prior to joining Vicente LLP, Colleen managed the sales and marketing efforts for a cannabis ad-tech startup based in Los Angeles. She completed extensive research on cannabis advertising regulations and worked in tandem with the chief compliance officer to create a state-by-state guide to cannabis advertising law. While completing her B.A. in History and Political Science at the University of Georgia, Colleen spent a semester in Washington D.C. interning at the New York Governor’s D.C. office.
