Ernie Svenson helps solo and small-firm lawyers use technology to run better practices. He spent more than 20 years as a commercial litigator in a large New Orleans firm before going out on his own.
Ernie began writing about legal technology in 2002 and has written books on the subject published by the American Bar Association. Today he runs Law Firm Autopilot and leads the Inner Circle, a community where lawyers learn to put AI, automation, and digital workflows to work in their firms. He also hosts The 80/20 Principle podcast.
Much of his work focuses on a problem he sees as more mental than technical: lawyers know technology matters, but they often do not know where to start or how to stay on track. He now lives in Panama City Beach, Florida.
