
Eric Guth is a corporate attorney at Much Shelist, P.C. with a particular focus on representing public and private borrowers, equity sponsors, and financial institutions in a broad array of lending, securitization, and other debt-related transactions. Eric also advises financial institutions and other companies on restructuring and reorganization issues involving distressed loans, loan portfolios, and related collateral. He works regularly with clients in general corporate matters and serves as outside general counsel to a number of privately-held businesses. He has represented individuals, startups, and established enterprises in stock purchases, asset purchases, mergers, and other business combinations.
Prior to his career in law, Eric served as an executive officer, fire direction officer, battalion nuclear weapons and message verification officer, and platoon leader for the U.S. Army.
