Kamran Salour is a partner in the Orange County office of Lewis Brisbois and a nationally recognized authority on data privacy and cybersecurity. He focuses his practice on guiding clients through every stage of the incident response process, including directing forensic investigations, developing post-incident notification plans, and responding to regulatory inquiries. Kamran also represents clients in state and federal litigation arising from data security incidents, helping them mitigate risk and protect their reputations.
For each incident, Kamran addresses three critical questions: how the breach occurred, how to comply with legal obligations, and how to reduce the likelihood of recurrence. His approach prioritizes minimizing business disruption, preserving customer relationships, and reducing litigation and regulatory exposure. In addition to incident response, Kamran advises on proactive measures such as drafting incident response plans and negotiating vendor agreements to clarify responsibilities in the event of a breach.
