Jeffrey Zeskind, lead auditor, has more than 40 years of audit experience, system development, and process development. He is a certified Health Care Information Security and Privacy Practitioner and a Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 42001 (AI), ISO 27701 and PIMS (Privacy), ISO 27001 (InfoSec), ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 22301 (business continuity), ISO 13485 (medical device), and ISO 20000-1 (IT services). Jeffrey is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt specializing in cross-functional process analyses with additional certifications in each of Risk Management, Lean, and Total Quality Management. He has served as a court appointed independent reviewer in class action litigation, HIPAA Chief Privacy Officer, Data Protection Officer, Director of Compliance Services, systems auditor, and compliance auditor relative to HIPAA, HITECH, NIST, FERPA, GDPR, DPA, PIPEDA, Part 2, Part 11, health and welfare, qualified and nonqualified plans, and state information privacy laws. Jeffrey has consulted with international and US telecommunication, government, quasi-government, EHRs, group health plans, clearinghouses, healthcare entities (hospitals, telehealth, at-home providers, medical and dental practices, research, mobile medicine, & clinics), pharma, aviation, accounting, insurance, utilities, universities, medical schools, adult day care, automotive, medical device, law, finance, IT, and PBMs. He has been the lead auditor for dozens of privacy-security-administrative audits, Meaningful Use and Cares Act, CEHRT system-portal, and compliance audits. Jeffrey has consulted on more than 100 merger, acquisition, and divestiture transactions. Jeffrey has authored and presented more than 35 role-sensitive learning modules and has served as evaluator for others.
