This webinar will conduct a deep dive into various contractual provisions that can impact a lateral partner move including, but not limited to, notice periods, clawback provisions, non-solicitation provisions, and setoffs—among others. Understanding these provisions can assist a lateral in determining the best time to make a move as well as ensuring that any potential effects of these provisions (economic and otherwise) are minimized, if not eliminated. The panelists who are seasoned recruiters and have negotiated hundreds of deals will discuss some real-life scenarios that they have observed and how best to deal with these provisions. The panel will also discuss the applicable laws and ethical rules that also must be considered when analyzing these various provisions. About the NEEC-TBA
