About Tania Kadakia

Tania is taking the lead in building and implementing DL3’s residential development strategy. She has an extensive background in affordable housing with more than 20 years of development, investment and lending experience. A former Vice President at BMO Harris Bank, she has closed $500 million in LIHTC syndications and $350 million in debt for affordable housing, and successfully structured a $140 million mixed-use and mixed-finance development project. Tania enjoys teaching, mentoring and volunteering, having lectured at the University of Illinois at Chicago and numerous affordable housing industry events. She participates on several boards of directors. Tania completed coursework for a master’s in urban planning and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
