Amy is a business-focused Intellectual Property Attorney with significant expertise in all aspects of Trademark law as well as experience in copyright, licensing and related IP issues. Amy’s legal career includes in-house Trademark Counsel positions at Hartmarx Corporation, Sears, Roebuck and JohnsonDiversey Inc., a sister company of S.C. Johnson. Amy has also worked in private practice at Leydig Voit, an Intellectual Property Boutique law firm and Schiff Hardin, a large national law firm, providing her with a broad scope of experience in consumer and business- to-business markets. Most recently, Amy founded her own solo practice as an Intellectual Property Attorney. Amy works with business owners, companies and legal counsel to address legal issues related to the protection of company names and brands which are unique to these areas of law. She understands the roles of both in-house counsel and outside counsel through her professional experience.
