About Len Conapinski

Len Conapinski is Vice President and General Counsel for Yingli Green Energy Americas, Inc., the Americas region subsidiary of China-based Yingli Green Energy Holding Co. Ltd. Yingli is currently the world’s largest manufacturer of solar panels.  Prior to Yingli, Len was in-house counsel for Caterpillar, focusing on intellectual property and commercial matters. Before going in-house, Len practiced as a patent litigator at a large firm and a patent boutique firm in Chicago.   Len is also a former law clerk of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Len holds an MBA from UC-Berkeley, a JD from Northwestern University, and a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Notre Dame.
