He has testified as a financial expert witness in many legal matters involving commercial contract disputes, intellectual property infringement matters, trusts and estates matters, merger and acquisition disputes, business valuation and solvency matters in a wide variety of industries, including financial institutions, insurance, petrochemical, real estate, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and high technology. He often has served as an arbitrator or advisor in tax and post-acquisition purchase price disputes where issues such as working capital balances and earn-out calculations are disputed. He has written and taught on the subject of commercial fraud, business and intellectual property valuation, damage quantification, and electronic discovery.
