Lewis S. Rosenbloom is the founding principal of Rosenbloom Advisors, LLC, a broad-based, solutions-oriented transactional and dispute resolution practice consistently delivering efficient bottom-line results in difficult commercial circumstances. His creative thinking, active involvement, and over thirty-six years of experience enable him and his colleagues to resolve a wide variety of complex matters and situations. This consistent, results-oriented approach has given Rosenbloom Advisors a substantial track record of success that spans multiple industries, markets, and unique circumstances.
Recognized as one of the nation’s leading business investment and restructuring advisors, Lew has managed the representation of virtually every possible stakeholder and participant in major corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcy, corporate restructuring, and complex commercial litigation, including mass tort and multi-district class, matters. He has been involved in the purchase, sale, and financing of billions of dollars of distressed company assets and securities. Lew has also successfully mediated many complex business disputes, including numerous professional “divorces.” His experience spans many industries, including the transportation, insurance, energy, telecommunications, technology, and financial services industries.
Prior to forming Rosenbloom Advisors, Lew maintained a tax and accounting practice with a predecessor to Ernst & Young, held multiple securities licenses, clerked for the United States Bankruptcy Court, served as general counsel and a member of the Board of Directors of a number of investment vehicles and operating companies, and chaired the international bankruptcy and restructuring practices at Winston & Strawn, McDermott, Will & Emery, LeBoeuf Lamb, and Dewey LeBoeuf.
Lew has served as chairman of several ABA Business Law committees, including panels on New and Pending Legislation and Transportation Reorganizations. Lew also served on the Board of Advisors to the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Advisor and as managing editor of the Annual Survey of Bankruptcy Law for Lenders. He is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy, having served two terms on its Board of Directors.
