Greg Chin

Greg Chin represents public and private companies in clean technology, life sciences, and other emerging growth industries. He also regularly represents venture capital firms, private equity firms, and investment banks that support emerging growth companies.
Greg’s transactional experience includes numerous public securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital financings. He has advised boards of directors regarding corporate governance matters and has assisted companies with business plans, company formation issues, financing, employment matters, equity incentives, public company disclosure issues, and federal and state securities law compliance.

Prior to attending law school, Greg worked for two years in business development and marketing for an emerging growth company in Japan. From 1996 to 2001, he wrote a biweekly column in Japanese about Silicon Valley news for a widely circulated Japanese technology industry newsletter.

Greg is a member of the audit committee of the Moldaw Family Residences located on the Taube Koret Campus for Jewish Life in Palo Alto, California. From 2003 to 2010, he was a member of the board of directors of Hillel at Stanford University.
