Nora Schweighart is a partner at The Law Firm of Faegre Baker Daniels. She focuses her practice in finance and restructuring, representing the interests of corporate debtors, secured and unsecured creditors and other parties-in-interest in all aspects of corporate restructuring, bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings. Nora counsels clients with respect to a wide range of bankruptcy and insolvency issues, including creditor and debtor representations in bankruptcy cases, the purchase and sale of assets from distressed companies and reducing client exposure to insolvency risk. Nora uses her extensive experience to build consensus among parties with competing interests and focuses on identifying and achieving efficient, consensual solutions whenever possible.
Before joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Nora was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Chicago. After earning her law degree, she started her legal career in Chicago with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
