Jared Hanley

Jared Hanley is a Principal with Brereton, Hanley and Company and Brereton, Hanley Securities. He heads up Brereton’s industry research and valuation practices. Mr. Hanley has over twenty years of investment banking and consulting experience with a broad base of capital raising, valuation and mergers and acquisition experience. Mr. Hanley has advised on over 100 middle-market transactions totaling well over a $2B in deal value.
Prior to joining Brereton, Mr. Hanley worked with Lehman Brothers and Salomon Smith Barney, serving regional and national clients in a variety of industries. He has also developed expertise in financial modeling and business valuation. Mr. Hanley was also a research associate at the Yale School of Management Econometric Department.
Mr. Hanley has also serves as an executive of the ESOP Valuation Group, Inc., as a Repurchase Liability Specialist for R.K. Schaaf Associates, Inc, and as a general partner at Organic Cropland Partners.
In 2016, Mr. Hanley received international recognition from The M&A Advisor Group, as winner of the “Deal of the Year” for the sale of Parrot Cellular to GameStop Corp. (NYSE: GME). Mr. Hanley has a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Cognitive Science, both from Yale University. He holds FINRA Series 7, Series 24, and Series 63 and is a FINRA registered securities principal. He is level three in the Chartered Financial Analyst Program and an ASA candidate. He is a member of the AMAA, NCEO, ESOP Association, and AIM.
