Eamon Merrigan is a partner with Goldberg, Miller and Ruben, where he actively practices in multiple counties in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania. He has extensive experience with all aspects of civil litigation and currently concentrates his practice in automotive negligence, premises liability, products liability, medical malpractice, and complex subrogation claims. He also handles uninsured and underinsured motorist claims and advises insurance companies on coverage issues.
Mr. Merrigan has obtained defense verdicts in over 55 jury trials, several of which involved pre-trial settlement demands of over seven figures. He has also obtained numerous defense verdicts at arbitration hearings and has successfully argued his clients’ positions at the appellate level.
Mr. Merrigan received his Bachelor’s Degree from Villanova University and his Juris Doctorate from Temple University School of Law. While in school, Mr. Merrigan served on the Editorial Board for the Temple International and Comparative Law Journal and was published in the Journal.
Mr. Merrigan has also lectured in several states and jurisdictions on various civil litigation topics including strategy and evidentiary issues.
