Evidentiary Objection

  • September 22, 2026

An evidentiary objection is a challenge to the use of a question, answer, document, or other material as evidence under the rules that govern admissibility. During a deposition, some objections must be raised at the time of questioning while others may be preserved for later, depending on the applicable procedural and evidentiary rules.
