About Fiona McEntee

Fiona McEntee is the Founding and Managing Attorney of McEntee Law Group. She first moved to Chicago from Dublin, Ireland, back in 2002 as an international exchange student at DePaul University’s College of Law. Having fallen in love with Chicago, Fiona returned to study at Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor in 2007. Little did she know that a few years later, she would be on the front lines of advocacy as a leading U.S. immigration attorney for immigrants' rights. As a proud Irish immigrant and U.S. citizen, Fiona has dedicated her 10 plus years of practice to the advancement of immigrants’ rights for individuals, families, and businesses. As a fearless immigration lawyer, Fiona’s advocacy efforts for immigrants range from regularly giving interviews to suing the Administration in federal court over the controversial Travel Ban. As a mother of two young children, Fiona has vowed to zealously represent immigrant children and parents who face immense obstacles in their quest for a better life in the United States. Fiona has been nationally recognized for her expertise in immigration law. Fiona has been selected for the ISBA's 2018 Elmer Gertz Award; the 2018 Chicago's Notable Women Lawyers; the 2017 Illinois Super Lawyer List, Rising Star; the Irish Legal Top 100; and the Irish Echo's 40 Under 40. She regularly provides immigration-specific commentary live on MSNBC, CBS, and RTE TV and Radio. Fiona has also been quoted in major media, including the Chicago Tribune, Politico, Inc. Magazine, and the Irish American News.
